Map project highlights from 2025

I usually write a blog post at the end of the year reflecting on achievements and challenges of the previous year, and show a selection of projects from the year.

In a previous post I mentioned difficulty managing social media posts so last year I almost completely pulled back from that. I suppose this year I can find a happy medium and post some of the projects I’m working on. Fingers crossed I’ll remember to do that periodically this year. It’s difficult to remember when I’m in the middle of a bunch of client projects.

Last year I only posted once, talking about a couple of tourism projects. If you missed that one, you can read it here.

Here’s a curated selection of maps from 2025. About 35% were for books and the rest were a combination of projects for tourism, cycling, businesses, and non-profits. There were a lot of repeat clients, and most of the book projects included several maps.

Clients included:

  • City of Mississauaga
  • City of Waterloo
  • University of Manitoba
  • Town of Whitby
  • Choose Folsom
  • Discover Naramata
  • Oakdale Publishing
  • David Bennett
  • Colum Leckey
  • Harry Merritt
  • Marianne Dove
  • Mark Strobel
  • Ruth Mai
  • Patrick Hayes
  • Nancy Marguerite Anderson
  • Epic Ink (imprint of Quarto Publishing)
  • and many more

You can follow me on LinkedIn and Instagram. I don’t post much but you can check out some older projects.
